The Digi-Kitty Challenge: Week 10-26

This card was done for The Digi-Kitty challenge for this week.
Supplies: Fall pages from the 2007 Scrapbook Daily Calender, VersaMark Jet Black Ink, Studio G Ink in Soft Suede, Red Cardstock and Sunflower thin Mulberry Paper, 1 3/8 " square punch.
Using the square punch, I punched out all of the paper squares and inked the edges in VersaMark Jet Black. I adhered the sunflower mulberry paper to the front of the card base. Trimmed the edges then added the punched squares in a random pattern. The large potted sunflower is matted on light brown vellum and inked. After adhering the squares, I cut a thin piece of red cardstock and adhered it to the middle row of squares. Using pop dots, I added the large sunflower at an angle. It was very simple and took about 15 minutes to make.

New Projects

This Santa Card was made using my Cricut and the new Joy of the Season Cartridge. Dark Green Cardstock makes the base for this fun card. The sled blades are cut out of DCWV Metallic Gold Paper.

This cute Hello Kitty card was very simple to make. It took me about 15 minutes. I am horrible at saving the names of my supplies so I am not sure which company makes what I use. I need to get better at this. I used the cat clear stamp and Versamark Jet Black Ink to stamp. Once on the pink cardstock, and twice on the Dusky Purple. I did not reink the stamp. The Hello sentiments is a clear stamp and stamped with Dark Pink from Studio G. This pink was also used to ink the edges of the pink cardstock. The paw print stamp is in the same set as the kitty.
This leaf card was a little more difficult than I thought it would be. It was actually a piece of 12x12 patterned paper. I cut out the pattern that was on the paper and used pop dots to raise up some of the leaves. The design was then put on black cardstock and put on the front of the card.
Thanksgiving card: The scarecrow image came from a 2007 Scrapbook Daily Calender. The leaves are from Prima. I also used background papers from the scrapbooking calender. Inked the edges of all papers and used buttons for the flower centers.

New Creative Projects

Good Morning Friends. Yes I know, I am not a good blogger. I am going to try and do much better. I have been working on alot of projects the past few months. I have also, for the first time, used digi-stamps. Pretty neat. It is nice not to have clean my stamps after using and can still have nice colored images to use. I like the ability they give you to color them in a "productive" site like inkscape or photoshop. I will be posting some new items soon. Have a great day, Emily
